Start of Summer – We went to Myrtle Beach for the first full family beach trip.
Shark Teeth
Wesley really wanted to find shark teeth, but we mostly found small shells.
until the last day when it rained we were able to find three little teeth. He held them the whole way home in the car (7 hours+)
The Pier
We spent some time on the pier fishing, eating italian ice. Someone caught a little shark and wednesday night they had fireworks off of the pier.
Hair Did
Joss wanted to get red hair extensions.
The Beach
this was the first time the kids have really been able to swim in the ocean and they loved it.
The Castle
we spent most of our time at the beach, the pool and on the board walk. Ripley’s museum was strange enough the kids loved it. The arcade was fun and the castle was pretty neat too. The food was great – we had all you could eat “Crab Arms” as Austin called them.
Overall it was a great family trip. The kids enjoyed the beach and everyone actually got along for the whole week.
BONUS – BOATING WITH FRIENDS
before the beach trip we went out with some friends on the Tennessee river to do some tubing and swimming.
School’s Over
The kids soccer wrapped up and Josslyn did a final Sax performance.
